Specializing in production home architecture, Collaborative Group Architects principals A. David Gibson and Mark T. Lewis bring over 50 years of combined experience in both architecture and construction. By providing practical, economical solutions to builder’s needs without sacrificing quality, CGA has earned a reputation as the value conscious architects. A David Gibson, AIA, NCARBDavid’s experience comes from nearly 30 years of working with major builders and architectural firms in both Arizona and California. Just prior to starting Collaborative Group Architects David had served as the Southwest regional designer and Vice President of Architecture for Pulte Homes. His responsibilities included design and product development for nearly all new housing projects for Pulte and Del Webb, covering Arizona and Nevada. He had introduced many new design innovations to the company including themed architecture, unique floor plan product, value engineering, and leading edge planning concepts. He spent several years prior to Pulte Homes as the Director of Design for two of the top production home architectural firms in Arizona. David is also currently serving on four Design Review Boards in Arizona; City of Gilbert, Red Mountain Ranch, Rio Mountain Estates and Sedona Firecliff Community. David earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-ARC). He is nationally certified as an architect with NCARB, licensed in Arizona, and California, and is a member of the American Institute of Architects. Mark Lewis Mark is qualified by over 20 years of progressive responsibility in the architectural industry. His experience includes development of proto-type programs for multiple applications in custom and production residential design and commercial design. He has developed full construction documents for custom and production homes, remodels, commercial projects, and tenant improvements. He also has experience with A.D.A. (American Disability Act) requirements. Mark developed proto-type construction documents utilized by Del Webb Corporation in new innovative developments such as Sun City Summerlin, NV, Sun City Palm Desert, CA, and Sun City Hilton Head, NC. He adapted proto-type documents in a flexible application for multiple builders in a custom environment emphasizing the creative aspect of home design. He developed a value engineering approach to design, which reduced overall building costs. |
